As a content creator I haveover fort experience using microphones, mixers, lights, cameras and editing software of all kinds. I've been using music software since the Mac II had Digital Performer which is from ancient times. I'd like to share some of the gear I use and love. I only endorse the gear that makes me smile.
Seriously!
Nine Channels plus customizable pads with onboard DSP effects and dynamics.
This couldn't be any more perfect. It has more channels than my basic mixer of the same size with so much more power. The Rodecaster is maticulously designed. I've dreamt of tools like this since I was a kid and that's far back, let's not go there. Just say it's pre MIDI if you know what that is, anywazay!
Connectivity is crazy pro level I/O with XLR, wi-fi, USB and Bluetooth, oh yeah four mic preamps. Yeah...What!?
I know it's a more expensive item in your toolkit but it's going to take your control to another level and also inspire you with all of the high tech looking colors and buttons. Trust me when my gear lights up and I can make the buttons whatever colors I want, it's a blast. I giving you tools on this page that are reliable, professional and beautifully constructed. I'm not looking to share stuff that is ok and affordable but may not meet or exceed your expectations. Nah! Not gonna do that.
I've been working with audio tools, software and video production gear for over forty years.
What you see hear is mainly just below crazy expensive but will give you years if not decades of solid performance. The Rodecaster is just that.
Unidirectional Polar Pattern
Volume Control and Mute Button (Pretty Cool Feature)
Built In Headphone Jack for Monitoring Latency Free Audio
I've always had an affinity for Audio Technica since school. They are workhorses and stand up to much more expensive microphones in quality and build. They also make great shotgun microphones for vlogging and location audio applications.
But this mic is really cool. It's coolest feature is probably the touch sensitive mute button.
The mic turns red inside the cage when it's muted. So you will make no mistake knowing when your audio is muted. It also has a handy volume and mix dial.
A fantastic AD convertor with 24Bit/96kHz sampling rate.
Desk Stand, USB-C to USB-A cable with adapter
An absolutely fabulous microphone choice for beginning and seasoned podcasters on a budget. The PD-79 dynamic microphone is going to give you that tight and clean sound you expect from far more expensive mics that you've seen in almost all high end podcasts. Works perfectly with a boom arm stand and has a pop filter screen that will minimize plosives.
Portable recording at 24-bit, 96 kHz
2 XLR/TRS inputs with locking connectors.
Records directly to 32 GB SD/SDHC cards
4-in/2-out USB audio interface
6 Track and 4 XLR Inputs with FX, Compressors and Limitors
Both recorders are built like tanks. Both are highly qualified for any recording application including being used as an audio interface for your computer. Plenty of onboard dynamics and effects to add polish to productions. Easily mounted on a tripod and XLR inputs have locking clamps for secure worry free recording.
Incredibly reliable wireless microphone. Even through walls and at a distance of more than a football field. Surpassing many microphones at this price. I tested these mics with turned away from the receiver (broken line of sight) and through four walls across the house.
Seriously impressed. And you may be looking at something cheap but don't be fooled.
If you want a quality lavalier microphone that is solid and inspires you to work than this is one of those mics.
The battery life is all day so I just leave it on. The case is a charger in itself with a USB-C charging cord. The transmitters are themselves microphones but you can still plug in the lavalier mics into them for a discrete presentation. Dead Cats come with them to mount to either the transmitter mics or lavs for wind protection. LED readout on the receivers and also a monitor output on the receiver. Totally professional grade audio tools.
I also recommend an extension lightning cord for the receiver. I clamp it to my tripod.
Wind Cats, Two Lav Mics, Lav Weight, Soft Pouch
This is the speaker, I'm telling you. The options in the back are incredible for such a small package. It even has a handle on the top for ease of portability. XLR inputs with switchable 48V, High-Z 1/4" TRS, 3.5 cable stereo inputs, even a USB-C input.
This is kinda crazy. QuickSmart mobile app for control, fx and streaming.
Built like a tank and yes they are waterproof. Tripod mountable.
Wow! DJs, Educators, Fitness Instructors. This is a really magnificent piece of gear.
Black or White
Gotta have great sound in the office and the backyard.
From one of my favorite loudspeaker manufacturers on the planet.
Clear and definitive sound for all around the house or office.
Long throw 8" woofer housed in a fire rated
ABS plastic enclosure for extended LF performance down to 50 Hz
Wall Mountable Brackets
